This day brought no polar bear sightings, but it did provide the opportunity to travel with my friends from
The Great Bear Foundation, who provide ethical and affordable field courses to Churchill in the summer and autumn each year. It was through this excellent organisation that I discovered Churchill, and was first able to experience polar bears, and they impart a wealth of cultural and ecological information about the area.
