Juneau Whale Watching, July 2012
Before going to Anan, I spent some time in Juneau, the capital of Alaska, to see whales and glaciers. I went whale watching with a company called Harv and Marv whom I recommend highly for their ethically sensitive approach, and for their small boat, personal approach.
This Humpback Whale was part of a group bubble net feeding on herring, and surfaced right next to our boat.
